Schedule Payments for Individual Instalments
Follow the directions below to schedule payments for individual installments:
1. Visit MyToronto Pay and sign in, create an account or continue as a guest (see Create a MyTorontoPay profile).
2. Locate or link your property tax account (see What do I need to search for my Property Account on MyToronto Pay?)
3. Select Available Bills and then click Pay bill.
4. When prompted, choose to Pay Multiple Instalments.
5. Next, select the maximum number of instalments shown.
6. Click Partial Amount, enter the amount due for one of the three instalments and click Submit.
Note: The individual amounts are displayed here, so you will be able to see the exact amount due for each instalment.
7. Enter your contact information and click Submit.
8. Add your payment to the cart, and then visit the cart and click Checkout.
9. Add a payment method by clicking Choose payment method.
Note: If you already have a stored payment method, it will appear here.
10. Towards the bottom of the Payment Summary, you will see the "Payment Date" for the transaction. Click in that field and select the date you wish the payment to be drawn. You can schedule your payment anytime prior to the due date and up to 180 days after the instalment due date.
11. Click the blue Pay $--.-- to schedule your payment.
You will need to go through this process for each instalment you wish to schedule. Scheduled payments will be displayed in the “Bill Details” section of your MyToronto Pay dashboard.
In addition, you will receive an email notification confirming the payment has been scheduled, as well as notifications before and after the transaction is created on the chosen date.
