Pay a Partial Tax Amount on MyToronto Pay

Residents can pay either the full or a partial amount of a property tax bill with MyToronto Pay. Choose Pay multiple instalments, and you’ll be given the option to choose to pay Total amount or Partial amount.

Note the following for paying a Partial amount:

• The minimum payment amount is $50.
• The maximum payment amount is the full bill amount due. Overpayments are not available on MyToronto Pay.
• Partial payments may be made toward current or delinquent bills.
• Partial payments are applied first toward any penalties or interest, followed by fees, and the remainder toward the principal.
• Partial payments can be made toward multiple property tax bills with the payment applying toward the oldest bill or instalment first.
