Can I use a pre-paid Visa card on MyToronto Pay?

Payments can be made via chequing account, savings account, Visa debit or credit cards, as well as American Express debit or credit cards.

Pre-paid or gift cards can be used for payment on MyToronto Pay once the card is registered to the cardholder’s name and a billing address has been set up with the card provider (e.g. Visa). To add a billing address to a pre-paid or gift card, call the customer service number or visit the website printed on the back of the card or included with the card packaging.

Note: Not all card issuers provide a way to register and add a billing address for pre-paid or gift cards. In that case, please use a traditional credit or debit card or chequing or savings account to make a payment on MyToronto Pay.
