Quick Steps to Manage Pre-Authorized Property Tax Payments on MyToronto Pay
MyToronto Pay offers Pre-Authorized Property Tax Payments that allow you to set up tax bills to be paid automatically when they come due. You can manage your enrolment, unenrolment, and payment methods on MyToronto Pay at any time.
After signing in to your MyToronto Pay profile (see Create a MyToronto Pay Profile) and adding a property tax account (see What do I need to search for my Property Account on MyToronto Pay?), follow the steps below to manage your Pre-Authorized Property Tax Payments:
Enrol
- Choose Explore Service under “Property Tax”
- Choose Manage Pre-Authorized Payments
- Review the “Before You Begin” information then select Continue
- Select the property tax account you wish to enrol and click Submit
- Confirm your email address and select Yes to continue
- Select your “Installment Plan Selection” and click Submit
- Select or add a payment method then click Submit
- Review the Terms & Conditions and then select Yes to continue
- Check your email inbox for the enrolment confirmation email
Unenrol
- Choose Explore Service under “Property Tax”
- Choose Manage Pre-Authorized Payments
- Select Unenrol account
- If you have multiple accounts enroled, select the account you wish to unrol then click Submit
- Choose Yes to confirm unenrolment
- Check your email inbox for the enrolment confirmation email
Update Payment Method
- Choose Explore Service under “Property Tax”
- Choose Manage Pre-Authorized Payments
- Choose Update payment method
- If you have multiple accounts enroled, select the account you wish to update then click Submit
- Choose Change Payment Method and click Submit
- Select or add another payment method then click Submit
- Review the Terms & Conditions and then select Yes to complete
- Check your email inbox for the confirmation email
