Quick Steps to Manage Pre-Authorized Utility Payments on MyToronto Pay

MyToronto Pay offers Pre-Authorized Utility Payments that allow you to set up utility bills to be paid automatically when they come due. You can manage your enrolment, unenrolment, and payment methods on MyToronto Pay at any time. 

After signing in to your MyToronto Pay profile (see Create a MyToronto Pay Profile) and adding a utility account (see Connect to a Utility Account on MyToronto Pay), follow the steps below to manage your Pre-Authorized Utility Payments: 

Enrol

1. Choose Explore Service under “Utilities (Water and Solid Waste Management)”
2. Choose Manage Pre-Authorized Payments
3. Review the “Before You  Begin” information then select Continue
4. Select the utility account you wish to enrol and click Submit
5. Confirm your email address and select Yes to continue
6. Select or add a payment method then click Submit
7. Review the Terms & Conditions and then select Yes to continue
8. Check your email inbox for the enrolment confirmation email

Unenrol

1. Choose Explore Service under “Utilities (Water and Solid Waste Management)”
2. Choose Manage Pre-Authorized Payments
3. Select Unenrol account
4. If you have multiple accounts enroled, select the account you wish to unrol then click Submit
5. Choose Yes to confirm unenrolment 
6. Check your email inbox for the enrolment confirmation email

Update Payment Method 

1. Choose Explore Service under “Utilities (Water and Solid Waste Management)”
2. Choose Manage Pre-Authorized Payments
3. Choose Update payment method
4. If you have multiple accounts enroled, select the account you wish to update then click Submit
5. Choose Change Payment Method 
6. Select or add another payment method then click Submit
7. Review the Terms & Conditions and then select Yes to complete
